These games were designed and developed by a group of experienced teachers to help their fellow colleagues introduce attractive learning and teaching modules into their classroom activities.

The games cover several thematic areas such as European integration, European citizenship, single currency, consumer protection, internal market, Europe in the world, EU Enlargement, European common cultural values, European cultural heritage, EU institutions, EU and its citizens, EU treaties and many others.

  • A Game of X’s and O’s about the European Union

The purpose of this game is to encourage students to answer nine questions about the European Union to get 3 X’s or 3 O’s across, down or diagonally. The questions cover the key stages of the history of the European Union. It is also meant to motivate students aged 11-19 to work in groups and improve their communication skills.
